Hello (peace) to you my Beloved -

Hello (peace) to you my beloved, the fair and rosy

Hello to you, from the temple [of the head] like a pomegranate

Towards your sister run, go please to salvation

Triumph like ben Yeshai [King David against] Rabat [the capital] of Ammon

What is it about you, pretty of prettiest, that you arouse love

And the chimes of your voice that are like the sounds of the bells [on the high priests robe]

At the time that you desire, love hastens to you

Now upon you I'll descend like the dew of [Mount] Hermon
